WELCOME

Fathers Family Time, begun in 1995, is situated in warm comfortable rooms in Litton Hall, Methodist Centenary Church, Leeson Park, Dublin 4.

The Centre is available by arrangement on Sunday afternoons between 2:30 to 5:00 for children and fathers to enjoy each others company on neutral ground. There are volunteers on hand to help (if needed) at all times

The most important people in the Centre are the children - it is very important to them to know both parents. We ask that we all put them first and make this possible. We understand that this may be difficult for you, but we'll do anything to make the situation easier for you and the children.

Fathers Family Time is a natural meeting place where the children of a separated father can enjoy contact with him in a comfortable and safe environment where there is no viable alternative. While children are at the Centre fathers maintain complete responsibility for them.

WHO RUNS

FATHERS FAMILY TIME?

It is staffed by volunteers from the Methodist Community and Parental Equality, the two groups who set up Father Family Time in 1995.

Without the selfless dedication of so many, so often, for so long, the worthwhile is often left undone.

ARE THERE ANY RULES?

Very few!

  1. Ours is a no smoking building
  2. Fathers are responsible for the safety and supervision of their children at all times.

MISSION STATEMENT

To provide short term help and support towards establishing meaningful contact between child and father.
