On Wednesday 12th of November I felt very excited as I walked to school. Today we were going to Croke Park to play Brackenstown n.s. from Swords. They had beat us already in the league so we were dying to have a second chance at playing them. At 10:30 am we left for our big match at 11:00 am we arrivied at Croke Park. The Team went out on the pitch to get a look at how it would be when we were playing. Soon after we came back into the changing rooms and got changed into our gear. It didn't take long before we were racing out onto the pitch. Our enthusiastic supporters cheered wildly as we came out. Within minutes the match had started.
Brackenstown had scored an early goal but that didn't drown our spirits. We fought back brilliantaly which lead to 2 goals 2 points. At half time we were winning 2-4 to 1-0. We went back onto the pitch rearing to start again. From the throw in we all played excellently. Many times Brackenstown came back at us but were unfortunate. We got a further 2 goals 5 points soon the full time whistle was blown and we jumped around the pitch with joy.After that we were presented with the cup and medals. Mr. Lowe and Mr.O Sullivan treated us to Mc Donalds in Donaghmede. When we got home we went beeping around Portmarnock. I really enjoyed the whole day.
