Choosing your dog
When you're choosing your dog, even if the dog is going to be yours, you talk to the whole family and consider the following. Are you prepared to groom, exercise and feed your dog every day? Are you ready to devote time to training and in the early stages housebreaking? Where is the dog going to stay when your on holidays? Are you sure you are not going to lose interest in your dog?
Teaching your dog to Heel
Put your dog on it's leash and saying heel gently but firmly place him by your heel and start walking, check from time to time that your dog is not falling behind or racing ahead.
Exercise
It depends on the size and activeness of your dog how much exercise your dog needs. But most dogs will want at least thirty minutes of exercise a day. Keep to a regular exercise routine and your dog will be happy.
